Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Fastemy (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our mobile apps, websites, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). If you do not agree with this Policy, do not use the Services.
1) Who we are and scope
Fastemy is the data controller for personal information processed via the Services. This Policy applies to all Fastemy apps and sites. Some features are provided by Apple and other providers (for example, subscriptions, analytics, crash reporting); their processing is subject to their own terms and privacy practices.
2) Information we collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Account & profile data: name or nickname, email address, password or token, in-app preferences.
- Purchase & subscription data: product, plan, status, renewal, and country as provided by Apple. We do not receive your full payment card details; purchases are processed by Apple.
- App and device data: device model, OS version, language/locale, time zone, app version, performance metrics, diagnostics, and crash logs.
- Usage data: interactions with features, timestamps, in-app events, and traffic data.
- Identifiers: device identifiers (for example, IDFV) and, only with your permission, advertising identifiers (for example, IDFA) used for tracking/ads.
- User content (if features support it): text, images, audio, video, or other content you upload or generate.
- Support communications: messages you send to us, including attachments and metadata.
- Children’s data: only where a specific app is directed to children or knowingly used by children and where the law requires verifiable parental consent (see Section 10).
3) How we use information (purposes)
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, and secure the Services (including account management, content, and features).
- Process purchases and manage subscriptions.
- Diagnose and fix issues, improve performance, and develop new features.
- Communicate with you about updates, changes, and service messages.
- Provide analytics and, if you opt in, personalized or interest-based advertising and measurement.
- Prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms.
- Comply with legal obligations.
4) Legal bases (EEA/UK)
Where GDPR/UK GDPR applies, our processing is based on:
- Contract necessity (to provide the Services you request).
- Consent (for optional tracking/ads and certain notifications).
- Legitimate interests (for security, analytics, service improvement) balanced against your rights.
- Legal obligation (record-keeping, compliance, and responding to lawful requests).
5) Tracking, advertising, and choices (iOS)
We request your permission before tracking across apps and websites owned by other companies. If you select “Ask App Not to Track” (or disable “Allow Apps to Request to Track” in iOS settings), we do not access the advertising identifier for tracking.
You can change this anytime in iOS settings. You can also reset advertising identifiers and limit ad personalization at the device level.
6) How we share information
We may share information with:
- Service providers/“processors” that help us operate the Services (for example, hosting, analytics, crash reporting, customer support).
- Apple to process purchases, subscriptions, and billing.
- Legal/Compliance recipients when required by law, to protect users, or to enforce our rights.
- Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale (your information remains protected under this Policy or a successor policy offering at least equivalent protection).
We do not sell your personal information. If we “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising where applicable law recognizes this concept, we will honor opt-out rights (see Section 9).
7) Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, including providing the Services, complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and context. When no longer needed, we take steps to delete or de-identify information.
8) Security
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information (for example, encryption in transit, access controls, and restricted employee access). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9) Your privacy rights
EEA/UK (GDPR/UK GDPR)
You may have the right to access, rectify, erase, or port your data, restrict or object to certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We will respond within applicable statutory timelines.
California (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents may have the right to know/access categories and specific pieces of personal information, delete personal information, correct inaccuracies, opt out of sale or sharing of personal information, limit use of sensitive personal information (where applicable), and be free from discrimination for exercising rights.
How to exercise your rights
Use the in-app support channel or contact us via the email published in the app listing. For App Store purchases, some actions (for example, refunds or subscription management) must be completed through Apple. We may ask you to verify your identity and account ownership.
10) Children’s privacy
Our general-audience apps are not intended for children under 13 (or the equivalent age as defined by local law). For any app directed to children or knowingly used by children, we follow applicable children’s privacy laws (for example, obtaining verifiable parental consent before collecting personal information). Parents can review, delete, and refuse further collection of a child’s information by contacting us. Do not misrepresent age or consent status.
11) International data transfers
We may process and store information in countries outside your country of residence. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards for international transfers (for example, standard contractual clauses) and take steps designed to ensure an equivalent level of protection.
12) Third-party services and SDK disclosures
Our apps may contain third-party components (for example, analytics, diagnostics, crash reporting, or messaging). Those providers process information on our behalf and under our instructions. Their handling of data is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. You can limit certain data uses via device settings, in-app controls (where provided), and by withholding consent for tracking/ads.
13) Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be effective when posted (or as otherwise specified). Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective means you accept the updated Policy.
14) Contact us
For privacy questions or requests, contact Fastemy via the in-app support section or through the contact details provided in the app listing. Please include your app, platform, and country so we can route your request correctly.
